The rollers type of cylindrical roller bearing, with a larger load capacity and rigidity than the point contact of angular contact bearing, belongs to line contact. It usually conducts by the two ribs of bearing ring. The rollers and the conducted bearing rings combined with one unit. Then the unit can be separated from another bearing rings. It is called separate bearing. The mounting and dismounting are comparatively convenient. It can relatively install inner ring and outer ring. Especially when the interference fit between inner and outer ring ,axis and shell are required ,its advantage can be easily presented.
This kind of bearing usually can be used to rely on radial load (it need special custom-made if they are required to sustain axial load) . Comparing to the same dimension s of deep groove bearing ,cylindrical bearing has more heavier capacity to sustain radial load . Its limit speed rating is access to deep groove bearing . The cylindrical roller bearing produced by PRS including five products series, single-row ,double-row ,four-row and such regular types .At the same time we can provide special type to develop and manufacturer according to customers’ requirements.

Single-row cylindrical roller bearing usually be cooperated with angular contact bearings which are considered as free movement and fixed fulcrum bearing .It is always used in such following conditions ,heavy load , higher rigidity ,and relatively lower rotating speed .

The double-row cylindrical roller bearing the features are matching tightly ,sufficient rigidity ,heavy radial load .And in the dynamic load condition ,it changes little in shape .According to the characteristic of structure ,it can be divided into NN(with double inner ribs) and NNU(with outer ribs).They are all without restriction movements. Therefore ,this kind of bearing is most suitable for the supporting of machine tools' spindle.

The four-row cylindrical roller bearing has the bigger radial load ability and rigidity, widely applied to rolling mill machinery and non-ferrous metals rolling mill machinery ,such as ,casts rolls over ,hot rolling ,cold rolling ,the foil rolls over, continued rolling machine , and high-speed linear rolling machine ,and so on . |

| The single row full complement cylindrical bearing may contain most rollers because of its non-separator .So it is applied to sustain heaviest radial load. But its working revolutions are far more lower than the cylindrical roller bearing with separator. And the mounting and dismounting of this bearing is easy ,too. |

The full complement cylindrical roller bearing has tight matching structure. It changes little in shape when sustain heavy load .It has double row rollers ,without separator ,can sustain heavy radial load .But it has a lower limit rotating speed and can’t accept axial load. |
